Description James Richardson 2009-02-06 09:53:23 UTC
Connected to Test.SN, I see no sync menu option on SBC

Boom/SB3/Transporter UI all show sync options
Comment 1 James Richardson 2009-02-06 09:58:07 UTC
after selecting sync from Boom UI to Receiver, I now see the sync menu item on the controller.

OK, the more players I add / remove from SN, the more the sync menu item gets messed up

If I add a player to SN, then only THAT player shows up in the SBC sync menu

if I then remove that player from SN, the sync menu item on SBC goes away

if I reboot the SBC, then all players show up

if I remove 1 player, then SBC forgets about all the others and can not sync any more

Sync menu item works but only if you change players. The real bug here is that the menu query is not refreshed when players connect or disconnect. This isn't going to be fixed now. Does this work on SC?

A possible better solution is to make the Settings menu not part of the main menu, and always call the server for a new Settings menu every time it's accessed.

The whole way the menus work is probably going to be changed for 8.0. It's not worth patching existing bugs with this now, until the future implementation is clearer.

Punting to next release.
