Description OlivierM 2009-01-28 13:39:20 UTC
After a certain amount of time(not sure how long), squeezecenter fails to keep track of the song being played and shows a song further up in the list. Pressing the "next" button gets it back on track.

please leave target field undefined so that it will be properly flagged for review.

Have you noticed the exact time when this happens? If so, try playing the one song prior to the current one. I suspect this is an issue of a track that didn't play and the song index wasn't updated.

It happens at random time, sometime very quickly after starting the random song play. The next song gets played properly but the display stays stuck on the one that finished.

Oliver: can you provide a log file.

Turn the following to debug

plugin.randomplay
formats.audio
network.protocol

We are now planning to make a 7.3.3 release. Please review your bugs (all marked open against 7.3.3) to see if they can be fixed in the next few weeks, or if they should be retargeted for 7.4 or future.

Thanks!

Tested 7.3.3 r25687. Unable to reproduce this error, please reopen if you are able to generate the error and provide requested log files.

sorry for the lack of feedback. It seems to have been indeed caused by songs (aac) not playing due to absence of appropriate decoder. I've added a aac decoding line in the config file and it's not happened again.
