Description Gordon Harris 2009-01-27 10:00:03 UTC
When the SqueezeCenter's OS updates the system time UTC offset for a DST time change, the Controller continues to display the "old" time, i.e. shows a time that is one hour "off".

Example:

-->System locale is set to Americas/Denver (aka Mountain Time)

-->System time is set to 030801582009 (March 8, 2009, 1:58am)

Start SqueezeCenter, start the SBC. The SBC and a SB3 will both display 1:58 am.

Wait two minutes.

The SB3 now displays 3:00 AM, reflecting the DST time change. The SBC continues to display the time in the "old" UTC offset, i.e. 2:00 AM.

To get the SBC to display the correct time, either SqueezeCenter or the SBC must be restarted.

We are now planning to make a 7.3.3 release. Please review your bugs (all marked open against 7.3.3) to see if they can be fixed in the next few weeks, or if they should be retargeted for 7.4 or future.

Thanks!

Confirmed as described.

moving to next release as it's not going to make it for 7.3.3

Moving to the product SqueezePlay because this bug appears to apply to any player based on that application code. Feel free to move it back if it's specific to the single original product.
