Description ndijulio 2009-01-23 18:25:04 UTC
A simple popup telling the user that a new device has been recognized by the system. Potential cases:

SD card
USB devices - External Hard drive, flash drive, etc.

The benefit is that the user has instant feedback the drive is working properly and allows us to direct them to applications for that data, whether this be images, songs, etc.

Yeah, I think this is important. We'll need a SD card icon and USB icon for the popup screen. Feel free to attach noah. :)

This probably means we need a notification mechanism to let the squeezeplay runtime know about these new events.

Richard, who should this be assigned to?

I need to find out how this works in Linux, leave it assigned to me for now.
