The server is down. This is not our problem and should be reported to RadioTime instead.

Any RadioTime issues shouldn't be filed without a log from scan.scanner and player.streaming.direct.

We need a better process for RadioTime bugs.

Andy--

is this the kind of thing where we can get a log and there will be a clear and searchable string we can search for indicating: a) it's a Radiotime problem, or b) it's something on our end?

Or are each of these tricky to investigate and need to go through you?

This particular case was very easy:

Hey Andy,

Thanks for the information about the logs. I do have a couple of questions.

Once we do identify that it is a problem on Radiotime's side, are we to alert you of this, or is there a contact person and number for Radiotime that we are to contact?

What if the problem is between SqueezeNetwork and Radiotime? (e.g. can go to Radiotime's website and play the station, or go to the actual URL of the station, and it plays fine, but it just doesn't play on our Squeezebox devices through SqueezeCenter or SqueezNetork).

Thanks,

LaRon

RadioTime has a nice feature on their website (coming soon to our menus) where you can report a problem. I suggest you tell people about that, or use it yourself if you also see a problem with a particular station. Don't bother testing the station's website, that won't really tell you anything. Just reproduce on your SB, if it fails, report the error to RadioTime. You don't really need to notify me at all.

Thanks Andy, I will do that from now on.
