While testing SP I see the above error when trying to play ANY Sirius channel

Note transcoding of WMA streams only works if the server is on Windows.

This may be due to the fact that I am testing SP on a MAC, and there is no transcoder installed.

In a case like this, we should display a User Friendly message indicating this?

Or

Is there another way to do WMA streams in OS X, like MOV123

No, by default there is no WMA transcoder on non-Win platforms.  You could install AlienBBC which comes with a WMA transcoder using mplayer.

I do not think that this is the same as bug 10758.

What is our support plan for SP Desktop?

with 7.4 I am unable to play sirius at all now.

Closing resolved bugs - if you feel this bug still exists please first re-test with the latest SW/FW version.  If you are able to reproduce then feel free to reopen and attach new logs / steps to reproduce.
