Description borowski 2009-01-19 02:54:32 UTC
Transporter (very first manufactured, Januar 2007).

I have the same Display Error´s, like it´s described in BUG 1398. The ScreenShots in this Bug (1398), show exact the Problem, that I have.
My Version is SqueezeCenter 7.0.1, Firmware of Transporter 50. I have it tested also with SlimServer 6.5.1 and SqueezeCenter 7.3. The Problem is always there.
The most pixel errors are in the right Display.
The pixel position and intensity depends on the Dimmer State of the Display. If it is not dimmed, the error isn´t present. The second criteria for the Error is, what activity is in the right Display.
I have made many Xilinx and factory resets, without change.
I wouldn´t reopen Bug 1398, because, it´s an other product, and Hardware architecture of the Transporter is certainly a bit different.
At last, PLEASE apologize my bad English. I write from Germany ! Thanks !

Hello again !
I have made some thoughts about the problem. Is it possible, that the small Power Circuit for the Display/Button Board at the front ist the problem ? I mean, for example, that some capacitors at the board are going bad ?
Can someone from SlimDevices (Technician) give me a hint ?
Thanks !

I have made Screen shots. Screen 2 is a little bit shaky. Sorry !

It seems terribly unlikely that this is a power problem. I'd like to try to reproduce this here. Also cc'ing Sean to see if he agrees.

I have already answered this in the forum. It is almost certainly a hardware issue with this particular player.

Closing this bug - please do not reopen unless there is evidence that this occurs on more than one unit. Thanks

Last comment from my side :
I have found totally 3 threads in the forum, with the same problem. And it gives also an old bug with this. I have wrote this before.
I have send my Transporter for Garanty repair.
