OK, it is a dumb thing to do but I couldn't figure out what to do with the wallpaper xml file that was being hosted.

I went to the customize controller page and added the .xml file as an image file and called it custom images.

Then I went to the fab and picked the "Custom Images" wallpaper. The unit rebooted.

Either the fab (and controller?) or the SC web UI should validate the file type to ensure that it is a supported type.

Fab (and the controller?) should not reboot if a bad file is referrenced. Instead it should display an error message.

SC 24698, fab r3866

Please re-test with SC 7.4 r25188 and Fab4 r4497

Do you still get the same error?

Doug: Still happening?

Works for me. Adding the xml file as an image and then trying to pick it results in no change in the background on the fab and no loss of functionality.
