error message 
org.xml.SAXParse exception: an invalid XML character unicode:xff found in the element content of the document

Please provide more info.  When did this happen?  Does it still happen?

This has been going on since some time in December of '08 which generated reference number 081222-001992. the problem could not be resolved and I was sent a new slingbox which was connected on Jan 16th which gave me the same error message. LaRon Walker who was working on the case then directed me towards the bug

Can you please tell me what hotfix means and does that mean the issue us resolved? what do I do?

This bug has been fixed in the latest release of SqueezeNetwork!
