Description James Richardson 2009-01-15 11:08:22 UTC
Attempting to add a SBC to an existing SN account with out an available player in setup mode will fail.
Comment 1 James Richardson 2009-01-15 22:24:26 UTC
Connect all players to SN
Disable or turn off any running SC
Remove the test SBC from SN (if it was previously setup to an account)
Reset the SBC, (FW 7.3 r3476)
Walk through the setup

After connecting to a network (entering any security key if enabled) you will be presented with choose player menu, which will show 1 item 'set up receiver' clicking on it will simply bounce the menu

When it works, you will see the 'Activate <player name>' item. Selecting that will present you with Player PIN: for the controller

Tested with:
 SB3 r121 - Fail
 SBB r41 - Works

Retested with r3993, now no player will show up after entering the security data.

We are now planning to make a 7.3.3 release. Please review your bugs (all marked open against 7.3.3) to see if they can be fixed in the next few weeks, or if they should be retargeted for 7.4 or future.

Thanks!

Since there's now a planned 7.3.3 release, bugs which won't make the cut-off are being moved to the next target out. If you feel that this bug needs to be addressed more (or less) urgently than the 7.4 release, please cc chris@slimdevices.com and leave a comment in the bug to that effect so we can review it.

Thanks.

Punting bugs that won't make it for the next release.
Comment 6 James Richardson 2009-10-01 20:12:24 UTC
With the release of 7.4 this bug is now invalid
