Description Moonbase 2009-01-15 05:47:04 UTC
I've seen that with every Windows SP version I downloaded from the nightlies since. You play a random mix (so that it won't stop) and it usually crashes after 5-7 songs, exactly at 10s from song end.

Roughly translated msg from German Windows is "squeezeplay has detected an error and must be terminated -- [Debug] [Close]". Program: squeezeplay.exe, Module: portaudio_x86.dll.

Since portaudio is mentioned, I wonder if this is related to bug #10313. Any way to debug this or give more info?

please include a log with the following set to debug:

formats.audio
player.source
player.streaming
plugin.randomplay

Is this related to your bug 10613

Wouldn't (yet) dare to merge them into one bug ... bug 10613 seems more like a "load problem" while this seems more like the "something happens at 10s from end problem".

Will come back with more in a few days, just reviving from crash.

Can you confirm if this is still a problem?
Comment 4 Pat Ransil 2009-07-30 19:01:39 UTC
James - If we can't reproduce this, lets retarget for 8.0.
Comment 5 James Richardson 2009-07-31 07:43:55 UTC
Unable to replicate with 7.4 r27942 and SP 7.4 r5936

Please retest with the above version or higher. If you are still able to replicate the issue, please provide logs as requested and reopen the bug.

Closing resolved bugs - if you feel this bug still exists please first re-test with the latest SW/FW version. If you are able to reproduce then feel free to reopen and attach new logs / steps to reproduce.
