Description Fedder Skovgaard 2009-01-12 04:43:38 UTC
I've enabled audio playback on my controller, and it plays fine through the built in speaker. Alas when plugging in a headset in the minijack does not change the state of the controller. I.e. it does not change to play-back mode, and if it already plays (through the speaker), it keeps on doing so, with only a hardly recognizable signal in the headphone jack.

It seems to me like the feature for detecting whether or not the minijack is connected is broken. -Or possibly a hardware issue on some controllers...

I'm running squeezecenter 7.3.1 and have installed the controller firmware, done a restore to factory defaults on the controller etc.

I tried calling Logitech support, but even though they tried to be helpfull, they couldn't investigate it further since the feature is marked as Beta.

I'm well aware that this report lacks technical detail, but I don't know how to create debugging traces on the controller, but will happily assist in obtaining them.

Best regards,
/Fedder
