Description Wigster 2009-01-11 20:08:48 UTC
Hi,

I am trying to display the TPE2 tag on the display using the Music Information Screen plugin. I have the "Use TPE2 tag as album artist" selected.

I was hoping that using the ALBUMARTIST keyword in Interface/Title Format would do the job, but the SB3 display only shows up the text "ALBUMARTIST".

Does it work with SC's own screen formats?
Comment 2 Wigster 2009-01-12 06:09:03 UTC
No, it does not either.

We only support ARTIST, COMPOSER, CONDUCTOR and BAND.

Would you be comfortable running SC from the source to do some test?

i thought i saw a similar bug to this somewhere else recently, or maybe it was a msg board thread, but surely if SC supports those 4 they can support ALBUMARTIST too, yes?

i mean, this isn't a TPE2 issue right? TXXX ALBUMARTIST wouldn't work either right? this is just an issue where that DB term needs supported for display, correct?

seems like a small easy thing to add.
