Description Ben Carter 2009-01-10 03:38:22 UTC
Fault seen in Firefox (3.0.5) but not Google Chrome.

After choosing a player in the dropdown (top right) of SqueezeCentre, and clicking play on song in the left pane, the music starts playing on the last listed player, rather than the one selected.

Reloading the SqueezeCentre page always reverts the right hand pane to the last player in the list. (In Chrome it always remembers the last selected player).

(currently running SqueezeCentre Version: 7.3.2 - 24555)

Did you recently upgrade SC? What revision are you using? Do you have firefox add-ons installed? If so which ones?

Yes recently upgrade to Version: 7.3.2 Build 24555 as I was waiting for some of the other bugs to become fixed, though it's been doing this right through the 7.3.2 builds for me. I only started using it with multiple players at 7.3.2.

It happens on 3 computers in firefox. Addons are only google toolbar and dictionary.

I also doesn't happen all the time, and I'm struggling to come up with the exact steps to make it happen. It tends to be after you've been using it a while.

What version did you use before the upgrade? If it was anything earlier than 7.3, then you'll probably have to wipe SC's filecache (might want to do this anyway). In Windows start menu you'll find "Reset configuration to defaults" in the SC group. It'll allow you to delete just the cache folder etc.

Ben: Please try SC 7.3.2, make sure you wipe your cache directory

let me know if the same issue happens.
