Bugzilla – Bug 10588
WMA Lossless song Skip if Paused and resuming play with Pause Button
Last modified: 2012-02-27 17:33:09 UTC
Ticket# 081217-002633 Environment: Windows XP SqueezeCenter 7.3 (and clean install of 7.3.1) WMA Lossless Files SB Duet and Squeezebox Wireless set up Signal in the 90s Update Firmware and still occurs ***Did not occur in SqueezeCenter 7.2.1**** Every so often (10-30 songs) during random song play, SqueezeCenter plays part of a song and then jumps to the next song. If I go back to the song and try to play it again from the beginning, it plays fine. I pause a song for a minute or more, then start playing it again from where I left off, it plays for a 10 or more seconds and then skips to the next song. Note - this song skip behavior occurs when pausing a song with the pause button and then resuming the song with the pause button. If I try to resume by pressing the play (-->) button, a new song begins to play. Symptom: Please see Log Attached

We are now planning to make a 7.3.3 release. Please review your bugs (all marked open against 7.3.3) to see if they can be fixed in the next few weeks, or if they should be retargeted for 7.4 or future. Thanks!
Since there's now a planned 7.3.3 release, bugs which won't make the cut-off are being moved to the next target out. If you feel that this bug needs to be addressed more (or less) urgently than the 7.4 release, please cc chris@slimdevices.com and leave a comment in the bug to that effect so we can review it. Thanks.
For some reason Bugzilla did not change the target when I did this yesterday. Or maybe it was me. In either case, I'm trying it again.
Does this issue still happen with 7.3.3? Closing as works for me. Please reopen and add additional comments if this is still an issue. Note that WMA lossless uses wmadec since we cannot decode WMA lossless natively.
Closing resolved bugs - if you feel this bug still exists please first re-test with the latest SW/FW version. If you are able to reproduce then feel free to reopen and attach new logs / steps to reproduce.
