On a long enough track - SB3 - engage the SongScanner and then hold the up button to move the position forward.  After 15 seconds of actual time holding the button, the SongScanner terminates.

This is independent of screensaver - happens with screensaver set to none.  It looks like the held button doesn't reset the exitmode times.

No you are right the timer is only reset on fwd/rew at present.

Should be fixed in change 24523.
