Settings/Advanced/Sound Effects/Volume says "Use the wheel to adjust the volume of the sound effects", which obviously isn't right.

Duly noted.  We will be revamping the settings menu in general, and there will be copy review screen-by-screen.  Thanks for catching this!

Matt - this is rather urgent imho. Translations have been done - based on the outdated message.

Richard/Ben - this is a shared string from squeezeplay. How do you handle overwriting them for fab4, but not for jive?

Remember that we'll have additional translation updates as we approach the 7.4 release.  

I think that this string is probably unnecessary.  Let's omit it and just get the text input working.
