Description Marc Auslander 2008-12-30 11:40:56 UTC
The time in the right of the status bar is not updating. If I go through choose player, it updates to current time and then again stays unchanged.

Version: 7.3.2 - 24422 @ Tue Dec 30 03:11:25 PST 2008 r3587

After a reboot of the controller, time is updating again. So this is yet another example of controller getting into a messed up state.

No evidence in the controller logs or SC logs of any issue.

Saw this again this morning. No server restarts in the story. Also say the home page title nil issue. The attached player was in off mode, having been turned off by powersave plugin.

*** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 10325 ***
Comment 3 Marc Auslander 2009-01-09 14:24:31 UTC
I'm in this state again. Controller time in iconbar is stuck. Each time I switch players, it updates and is then again stuck. Everything else seems to work properly. My SB3 clock continues to work properly.

I am suspicious about this being a dup of the WOL SB3 clock bug.

And I could use some guidance about logging. I can ssh into the controller and watch the log - but I don't know what to turn on. If I debug player, I see updateIconbar() calls, but I have no idea if that means anything.

reopening bug, with the new info it does appear to be controller specific. Ben, any thing look like a failure here?
Comment 5 Chris Owens 2009-03-16 09:45:47 UTC
We are now planning to make a 7.3.3 release. Please review your bugs (all marked open against 7.3.3) to see if they can be fixed in the next few weeks, or if they should be retargeted for 7.4 or future.

Thanks!
Comment 6 Chris Owens 2009-03-30 17:19:49 UTC
Since there's now a planned 7.3.3 release, bugs which won't make the cut-off are being moved to the next target out. If you feel that this bug needs to be addressed more (or less) urgently than the 7.4 release, please cc chris@slimdevices.com and leave a comment in the bug to that effect so we can review it.

Thanks.

Moving to the product SqueezePlay because this bug appears to apply to any player based on that application code. Feel free to move it back if it's specific to the single original product.

I can't reproduce this and haven't seen it personally. QA?
Comment 9 Marc Auslander 2009-07-30 08:35:14 UTC
I reported this and I haven't seen it in a long while either. So I'm happy to close it or have you close it.
Comment 10 James Richardson 2009-08-07 09:26:55 UTC
appears to have been addressed in a later firmware.
