Bugzilla – Bug 10446
No FeedBack to user on "loved" track
Last modified: 2009-07-31 10:33:43 UTC
When using the Web UI with FireFox/Safari/Internet Explorer to "love" a track with any of the services that support that, there is NO feedback to the user that a track has been loved. The Player UI does not show the 'you just loved that track' message nor does the Web UI. If loving the track via the Player UI, there is feed back to the user.
Would this be yours to fix?
Andy - could you please help me understand LastFM Loving/Banning (I assume what this bug is about, right?)? Looking at the code I'd say the TrackInfo item is calling an url on SN, while the CLI is calling some audioscrobbler command (which might not even be enabled). Is this the way it should work, or should they both do the same?
oops, scratch that. LastFM's TrackInfo menu item is about the "on lastfm", not loving/hating...
Andy - I'm still confused. I see where the "Love this track" track info item is coming from. But I have no idea where the ban item is defined. Nor do I find the string I see when using that item on the player.
Please be more specific, what exactly are you playing and where are you loving the track from?
change 24560 - SN's answer now is json, no more opml. Fix regex.
James - there were similar problems with Pandora and Slacker. Please test them as well. Thanks!
