Description Walker LaRon 2008-12-22 17:28:49 UTC
Ticket # 081216-001387

Version: 7.3 - 24282
Operating system: Windows XP - EN - cp1252

Symptom:
"Windows: Prevent System Standby While Playing (v1.0)" feature is broken

My PC is set to sleep after 10 minutes when not in use; however while
playing last.fm stations my PC is now going to sleep, it was working correct
with 7.2 slim server. I've checked and and the "Windows: Prevent System
Standby While Playing (v1.0)" is installed, it always seems to sleep when a
track has finished never 1/2 way through.

Steps to re-create the issue

- Set computer to sleep (any time will do)

- Go into SqueezeCenter and make sure the "Windows: Prevent System Standby While Playing (v1.0)" is active

- Go to last.fm and play music

- Wait the allotted time that you set your machine to go to sleep

Your machine goes to standby mode regardless if this feature is turned on or off

Thanks,

LaRon

Verified 7.2.1 does not halt Last.FM playback at Windows Sleep time. Monitor sleeps but system does not

Verified 7.3.0 does halt Last.FM playback at Windows Sleep time, system then sleeps ~ 5 minutes later

Verified 7.3.1 does not halt Last.FM at Windows Sleep time. Monitor sleeps, but system does not

Please have the customer try SC 7.3.1. Feel free to reopen the bug and add comments if still an issue.

Reduce number of active targets for SC
