Bugzilla – Bug 10422
build-perl-modules.pl can't install AutoXS-Header-0.03.tar.gz
Last modified: 2009-01-27 14:36:10 UTC
AutoXS::Header is required by Class::XSAccessor::Array when building Class-XSAccessor-Array-0.05.tar.gz from build-perl-modules.pl. Adding AutoXS::Header to build-perl-modules.pl doesn't work because building AutoXS::Header doesn't result in any shared libraries! Manually adding AutoXS/Header.pm to CPAN/ appears to fix the problem. See http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?p=374486#post374486
Ross: can you validate this one please.
James or Matt, do either of you have a Fedora 6 iso available? It's no longer available from fedoraproject.org
I don't... sorry. Its probably available at some mirror somewhere though. http://archives.fedoraproject.org/pub/archive/fedora/linux/core/6/i386/iso/
By the way ... why are we still supporting FC6? Additionally, if this is a standard FC6 (x86/x64), why do these need to be compiled?
Ross: I have not been able to find a copy of this, sorry.
(In reply to comment #5) > Ross: I have not been able to find a copy of this, sorry. I figure that you guys aren't seeing this issue in later Fedora versions. If so, let's close this and move on. This is not a big issue for me. I do hope to migrate off FC6 soon.
Thanks Earl. Feel free to re-open if you see this after you upgrade.
