Description Kevin Pearsall 2005-03-11 13:52:36 UTC
have had reports of this on OSX, Windows, OpenBSD...
Comment 1 Dan Sully 2005-03-11 13:54:09 UTC
Kevin - I need much more information on this.

Build number?

We aren't officially supporting OpenBSD right now - they can download and
install the modules from:

http://svn.slimdevices.com/vendor/src/

We are included them for Win32, OSX Jaguar and Panther.

6.0b1.

just got another report from a customer using linux as well.

what other information do you need?
Comment 3 Dan Sully 2005-03-11 14:01:46 UTC
Specific OS version. perl -V on *nix systems.
Comment 4 Blackketter Dean 2005-03-11 20:55:50 UTC
Dan fixed one issue related to MacOS the day after the beta went out and updated the Mac dmg files.
make sure that the customers have the latest beta.

Windows is unexpected, need output from perl -V (that's a capital V, mister), if they' have perl installed.
If not, then we need to know details about their OS version/architecture.

We'll make a call on an arch-by-arch basis for the remainders. Dan to provide ample documentation on
how to contribute binaries for a given architecture.

Kevin - as stated in an email to you, I've added the Bin/build-modules.pl file,
which will help anyone who's platform we don't support.

Please let me know about the Windows issue, if that still exists.

Still weeding through e-mails about this. I'll add more as it comes up. Sorry.

I'm closing this - Kevin, if you get any more information re: Windows, please
reopen.
