Description Larry Feign 2008-12-20 17:58:28 UTC
I have hundreds of WAV files in my music library, all standard 44.1/16 format. Never had a problem playing them through SqueezeCenter before. Since upgrading SqueezeCenter and firmware today (which I hadn't done in a long time) to SqueezeCenter 7.3/Firmware 120, no WAV files will play back.

The only thing all these WAV files have in common is that they were decoded from FLAC files. The original FLACs play fine through the SB3, but the WAVs do not. Again, these exact same WAV files played back just fine before the upgrade.

Please don't ask me why I prefer to have WAV rather than FLAC in my library. The issue is that WAVs suddenly no longer work.

Sorry. Fixed it. After endless tinkering it turned out to be a firewall issue. Though I can't understand why a firewall would allow SqueezeCenter to play FLACs but not WAVs. Go figure.
