Description Spies Steven 2008-12-18 15:13:04 UTC
The sparc based readynas units do not seem to have enough power to do flac encoding without rebuffering or severely degrading the user experience. Currently it appears we do flac to flac transcoding to support flac/cue files. This should be changed to avoid reencoding to flac on these systems. Since this option does not show up in the file types in the web interface I assume this needs to be changed in convert.conf or custom-convert.conf.

Alan, is this something that can be changed easily in convert.conf or custom-convert.conf or would it take more then that to support?
