After selecting a Boom on the network, it goes to a "Software Update" screen which has no activity (ie. no moving scroll bar to indicate status of the update). The "Now Playing" screen saver kicks in, but when I exit the screen saver I'm back at the "Software Update" screen. Unplugging the unit and plugging it back in takes me back to the "Software Update" screen, so this Fab4 is effectively bricked.

Richard is building and Matt will be releasing the firmware that fixes this.

Not sure how this is assigned to me ... but Fab4 firmware updates are fixed, so I'm assigning this to Richard to determine when to close.

This should be fixed now. Fab4 software updates should work ok with a recent 7.4 SqueezeCenter (see the beta forum for details).
