I am running:

Version: 7.4 - 24322 @ Tue Dec 16 01:01:32 PST 2008

The Fab4 unit sees my instance of SC but when I attempt to connect, I get the left-right shake which apparently indicates that I have made an invalid selection. I cannot browse music, so I infer that the Fab4 is unable to connect to SC.

could be a similar issue to what caused bug 10209
