Description Alex 2008-12-16 17:39:22 UTC
Display of large album cover art of currently playing track is awesome, as long as the mouse cursor is moved over the upper portion of the thumbnail picture. If the the cursor is moved over the lower portion, the larger pop-up goes off screen (right and top of the cursor) and only the bottom 1/4 of the large cover art is visible.

Is it possible to have a consistent behaviour without keeping track of where the mouse lands on the thumbnail?

Is this with a small browser window? Might be a dupe of bug 9435.

Michael: Yes, what I am seeing is the same as bug 9435
==============
Here is a better explanation of what I am seeing

It looks like (with safari on mac) the Large Image is generated based on WHERE the mouse pointer is. I.E.
if I put the mouse in the Upper Left of the small image, then the Large image is generated properly.
If I put the mouse in the Lower Left, then the image is displayed ABOVE the mouse pointer, which will result in bug 9435
If I put the mouse in the Lower Right, then the image is displayed to the Above & RIGHT of the mouse pointer, which will result in the image displaying off the browser window, Even if the browser is set to full screen mode

IMHO this bug can be marked as a Dupe, with the above added to the old bug.
