to reproduce:

Connect to local server
Play some music.
Press pause (this may or may not be necessary)
press and hold left to get to firmware menu
connect to squeezenetwork
try to play something.

You'll notice no audio from the output or from the visualizer.
In now playing mode, the counter counts, the buffer it not full already will
indicate it fills up very quickly.

I still havent' figured out how to get the SB2 working again.

Fixed in rev 5 of the firmware.
