Description Matt Wise 2008-12-13 11:44:45 UTC
I just setup an SB3 on an existing 7.3.1 install. After the FW update it booted up with TWO 'Music Store' menu options.

Seems to happen with any new player connecting to SC for the first time ... just happened with a Boom connecting to RN-Nightly at work.

The assumption on most people's part was that new players had this option and then it was added, but Andy says that's not the case. It's not clear why people had this item added twice, and QA will work with Andy to try and figure that out.

A related issue that's come up is that when we add a new menu item, it is possible with menu customization that the hierarchy where the new item would have been added is not available. In this case, we should add the item to the bottom of the main menu.

Should be fixed in change 24310.

I changed the following:
If MUSIC_STORES already present, don't add it again.
If MUSIC_SERVICES is present, MUSIC_STORES is added right after.
If MUSIC_SERVICES is not present, MUSIC_STORES is added as the last menu item.
