MVC Error popup

On squeezeplay the playing stop with an assert error (see attachement) when playing some radio stations or podcast. This is systematic on the given stations and podcasts and squeezeplay crashes immediately if restarted, unless I remove the playing station from the internet interface (or the podcast ended).

Note that when using the controller as a player, it crashes apparently exactly in the same cases, and reboot endlessly. This may be related to this problem (but who am I to know?). 

SC 7.3 - 24282 running on XUbuntu 8.04, squeezeplay on uptodate Windows XP.
