Description rdf 2008-12-08 15:30:31 UTC
When selecting a favorite radio feed via one of the six buttons the display show "now playing" of the feed selected for about 1 second then reverts back to whatever was being displayed previously.

After a certain amount of time has elapsed the display switches to "now playing" just as if a favorite had been selected via the menus.

I think the display should behave exactly the same whether using the knob and play button or the preset. That is, the favorite should show immediately and subsequent display should follow the preference set by the user (mine is now playing).

It is confusing to see something on the display which doesn't reflect what one is hearing.

Robert: what version of SC are you using?

I am unable to duplicate this with 7.3 and firmware r40

Or, are you doing this on SN?

I only use SN. Because of the problem I was having on power up I also set the SC IP to SN.

I don't know where the logic is stored, but I would think that changing the display on the boom is a local function independent of the connection. So whether one selects a favorite from a menu or via a preset the functionality should be related to the firmware in the boom. I'm just speculating, you're the expert.
