Description Spies Steven 2008-11-25 13:30:37 UTC
Now that bug 9932 appears to be solved I am no longer being taken to the wizard after a successful install on a clean system. I am however taken to the wizard after an update.

1 Start with a clean Mac OS X 10.5 system
2 Download SC 7.3 24080
3 Run the installer and approve the warning dialog
4 Click install
5 Click OK on the Install Results

At this point the installer closes and nothing seems to happen. The wizard does not appear nor does the system preferences. If I do open the SqueezeCenter preference pane it does show SqueezeCenter running however.

works for me

3 -> what warning dialog?
Comment 2 Michael Herger 2008-11-26 02:14:47 UTC
nope, not working reliably will continue...
Comment 3 Michael Herger 2008-11-26 05:06:18 UTC
change 24106 - the port checker script must not die with an error message (which goes unseen anyway) if there's no prefs file, as we might check this property before SC has initialized it at a first time start

This bug has been fixed in the 7.3.0 release version of SqueezeCenter!

Please download the new version from http://www.slimdevices.com/su_downloads.html if you haven't already.

If you are still experiencing this problem, feel free to reopen the bug with your new comments and we'll have another look.

Reduce number of active targets for SC
