Description Ben Klaas 2008-11-20 13:13:43 UTC
Steinar reported this in bug 10064, and it's a separate problem from that bug. This one also needs fixing.

from Steinar: "When my controller enters the now playing screensaver, the progress bar and the numbers on each side stops updating. Exiting the screensaver to the now playing screen (with icon bar at the bottom), the progress bar and numbers starts to update again. When entering the screensaver again, they stop.
I am using firmware r3411."

I can fully reproduce this on both controller and desktop squeezeplay

I assume this is related, but I just noticed that when listening to a radiotime stream, the metadata is not updated.

Richard- I iterated back on versions of NowPlaying and found that it was checkin r3395 that broke this. I'll keep investigating, but care to comment?

Fletch- not sure about RadioIO, but probably not this one. That might be more of bug#10064, or maybe a separate bug.

Radiotime, not radioio, but I'll test and open a new bug if necessary.
