recent additions to the LMA

If you search for recent additions to the LMA, there's a large gap going back to March. Please see the attached image. I believe the first three shows on the list were entered with bad dates and that's why they show up. I think these same recent shows are missing now matter how you search.

Many users have seen this problem.

Andy: your thoughts on this one? QA has verified the issue with SC Version: 7.3 - 23935

Reassign to me if you need logs or further investigation.

Punting to next release.
Comment 3 Andy Grundman 2009-07-28 12:53:22 UTC
Punting bugs that won't make it for the next release.
Comment 4 Dave 2010-04-12 13:48:04 UTC
is there a way to work around this? like flushing some cache and forcing a full lookup from the archive?

Hi Andy,

I happened to find this thread:

http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=40572&highlight=archive.org

...where you mention that the LMA plugin uses archive.org DB dump to access the content. So is this bug really just a situation of the DB dump being stale?

Is there any plans to enhance SB server so that it builds LMA content dynamically?

This issue continues where the Live Music Archive content has gone 3 months stale - is there a workaround that can be used in the meantime for this behavior?

How can we boost the priority on this? Railroad Earth is a prolific band with 105 shows added in 2010 alone, but the LMA search only shows 2 shows. While they're good shows, I'd really like to be able access others. This applies to several other bands I follow, not just RRE.
Comment 8 Brian 2011-01-12 08:15:58 UTC
This is an ongoing issue. There is obviously a fairly easy way to do this since I have an app on my Android phone that handles LMA just fine. Please Logitech, devote some cycles to this issue and fix a 3 year old bug.

This looks to be fixed as I look at it today. Thanks for doing this, whoever did this.

Where are you seeing this fixed? I'm running SB server 7.5.3 and using the web interface I definitely still see missing shows.

I am seeing it in the web interface and all of my other interfaces. Attached an updated screenshot with results for 2011.

I wish we would get some official comment here on what to expect and how to force it to refresh ...
Comment 16 Christopher Heiny 2011-04-03 08:02:13 UTC
I just did an update, still see only 2 shows for Railroad Earth in 2010, and no shows for 2011.

Yeah, I see the same.

I checked and still the same for me as well, unfortunately.
Comment 19 John Lescisin 2011-04-06 08:18:22 UTC
For fun, I tried server Version: 7.6.0 - r32229 @ Tue Apr 5 02:07:52 PDT 2011 today and am still seeing same result, ie no new shows. I'm baffled how tkerans@gmail.com seemed to show some 2011 updates.

It would be really nice if someone from logitech could chime in!

Please fix this so there are at least weekly updates. It would be nice if the server could build the list or if we could point to an xml file that can be built from a simple script. If mysqueezebox.com cannot serve an accurate list, please consider providing the details so that we can build our own solution. I'm really not ready for my Boom's to be rendered obsolete.
