Description Dave Cohen 2005-03-09 16:23:46 UTC
Not sure exactly how I got into this state, so I'm not sure how easy it will be
to reproduce.

When I reboot my SB2 and go through the network setup, on the last step it
prompts me to connect to a slimserver it remembers. Specifically, it says
"george (_ip_address_here)". Where george is the name of a local machine, which
from time to time runs a slimserver. But the ip address it shows is not george.
Its another machine where I manually entered the ip address.

Here's what I think happened. I powered on the SB2 and walked through the
networking setup. At the time, goerge was running a server locally, so it found
george and prompted me to connect. But instead I typed the ip address of a
server not on my local network. It connected fine. But ever since its been
calling that other ip address george.

Dave, does this happen with the latest firmware? I believe it should be fixed
with recent changes.
