Last modified: 2009-07-31 10:32:03 UTC
Created attachment 4253 [details] Screen shot of error message Installed nightly SC 7.3 build Windows version 23931 dated Nov 14 2008. Installed OK, but when I chose "Open SqueezeCenter" from SqueezeTray application I get an error message: http://127.0.0.1:9000 The parameter is incorrect. Seen on previous day's nightly as well. Running Windows XP SP2. Screen shot of error message to follow.
QA - can you reproduce this? I doubt this is a real bug. We'd have tons of complaints. Mickey - did you recently change anything about that machine? New software? New browser?
Confirmed on XP & Vista. Build 23953 broken I don't get the application error, but the web browser is totaly blank. Using FF & Fire Bug, I see that HTML Body is blank

Build 23940 works for me
Fixed original issue with SC 7.3 build Windows version 23931 dated Nov 14 2008 -- was due to improperly installed IE7 on top of IE6. Fixed by reinstallation of IE7. Doesn't affect open issue with build 23953.

Hey, you should have closed this bug in favor of 10065 - there's a log file in the other bug ;-)
Wow... something's compeletely wrong with that installer build: after it has copied everything, it starts uninstalling it again. Looking at the installation folder I see it has removed all HTML templates, plugins etc. with only the binaries left. Can you confirm this behaviour? Hopefully this is just a temporary glitch in the build process.
change 23960 - Windows installer would always uninstall parts of the app after the installation. Need to correctly wrap conditional execution of the uninstall code.
This bug has been fixed in the 7.3.0 release version of SqueezeCenter! Please download the new version from http://www.slimdevices.com/su_downloads.html if you haven't already. If you are still experiencing this problem, feel free to reopen the bug with your new comments and we'll have another look.
