We are pleased that we can assist you. When you use the Squeezebox device to listen to your stations, are you accessing the station directly from this device? Or, are you using a program to log into your Live365 account first? If you haven't already, you may want to try using the Slim Server program. This will allow you to log into your Live365 account. You can learn more about this program by going to: http://www.slimdevices.com/dev_live365.html Give this a try and let us know how everything works out for you. If you have any further questions, please feel free to write back. Please let us know if we can be of any further assistance. The beauty of the Squeezebox is exactly his stand-alone possibility. Where is the problem then? Is Live365 account or the firmware of the Squeezebox? Regards Carlo [Quoted text hidden] Derek Tue, Mar 6, 2007 at 8:01 PM To: carlo.mantero@gmail.com Hi Carlo, At this time, Squeezebox may not be able to recognize your VIP account if you are not using the SlimServer program. As a result, you may receive ads on the Squeezebox device even if you log into a Live365 VIP account. As a result, I would still suggest that you continue to use the SlimServer program in order to access our stations with your VIP status. You can try updating the firmware, but I believe the SlimServer program is what you will need to use to interact on the Squeezebox with your Live365 VIP account. The Squeezebox does not recognize my VIP account due to something related to Slimdevices.com or due to Live365.com or a combination of the two? This because I'm also working with the people of Slimdevices to solve the situation. Thanks [Quoted text hidden] Derek Wed, Mar 7, 2007 at 6:53 PM To: carlo.mantero@gmail.com Hello, It's probably a combination of the two. Currently, the Squeezebox device on its own may not support the Live365 login script without the SlimServer program. I can pass along your concern to our development team as well. In any event, please feel free to write back if you have any further questions.
